Box Score The women's basketball team dropped their final home game of 2017 to the Windsor Lancers, 76-49. Â It was Fantastic Alumni and Senior Day at the PAC but the black and gold couldn't come away with the victory against one of the top teams in the country.
Waterloo stuck right with the No. 6 Lancers in the opening quarter but a big fourth quarter which saw Windsor outscore Waterloo 22-4 was the difference. Â
Waterloo's seniors went out in style having strong games in their final contest at the PAC. Â
Nicole Schlick (Prince George) led the way with 14 points and six rebounds while
Kristen Osborne (Markham) had 10. Â
Jenel Ulman (Hamilton) put up seven while
Emily Wilk (Oakville) had four.  Soffie Persson was also honoured as the exchange student won't be back next year with the Warriors.  She finished with four points in the game.

Cheyanne Roger and Emily Prevost each put up 17 points in the win for Windsor. Â
Waterloo fell to 5-13 on the season and will look to for two big road wins to close out 2017 next weekend. Â On Friday they battle the Lakehead Thunderwolves in Thunder Bay before the season wraps up on Saturday in Guelph.
