The University of Waterloo Department of Athletics and Recreation is proud to announce our partnership with the Waterloo Region Minor Football Association who will rebrand as the
Waterloo Junior Warriors starting in the Spring of 2023.
This partnership signifies a major step in connecting UWaterloo student-athletes with the minor football community in our region while strengthening the Warriors brand.

The partnership will provide many benefits to the athletes of the Waterloo Region Minor Football Association including:
- Free tickets for all Junior Warrior players to all Waterloo basketball, football, hockey, and volleyball home games
- Coaching clinics
- Opportunities to meet and learn from current Warriors student-athletes/coaches
- Discounts on Warriors fan gear, promotional items, etc.
- Social media promotion of Waterloo Region Minor Football
- And more
The partnership was made official on Thursday, December 15 in the Feridun Hamdullahpur Field House.Â
