Interuniversity Council

The Interuniversity Council is a student-led committee consisting of representatives from all Warrior varsity athletic teams. The Council meets once a month during the varsity season and brings forth a voice on behalf of student-athletes, providing a liaison to departmental staff.

Executive Roles
a) Be the voice of the council to the department/community
b) Act as role models for all student-athletes
c) Ongoing promotion and encouragement of other council members to participate and get involved in department/council initiatives
d) Create Agendas for and lead meetings
e) Take attendance and minutes at meetings

Avery Kelly - Volleyball


My name is Avery Kelly. I am currently in my forth year of Honours Arts and Business with a Major in Legal Studies. I am currently a captain and forth year athlete on the Varsity Women's Volleyball Team! I am extremely excited to be an IU Council executive to create new relationships, act as a strong female voice, and encourage other student athletes to speak up to make Warriors athletics community a better place!





Andrew Cameron - Swimming


My name is Andrew Cameron and I am a 4th year Civil Engineering student. This is my 4th season competing for Men's Varsity Swimming and my 1st year as an IU Council Executive. As a member of this council, I hope to contribute to finding new ways of improving the line of communication between our many varsity athletes and the athletic department. I look forward to helping athletes across all sports and programs connect with each other and department staff!



Campbell, Chase

Chase Campbell - Hockey


My name is Chase Campbell. I am currently in my 5th year of Recreation and Sport Business with minors in Event Management and Communication studies. I am currently a Captain with the Varsity Men's Hockey team going into my 5th year on the team. I am extremely excited to be an UI Council Executive to connect with fellow athletes at University of Waterloo, bring new ideas to all programs and try to improve the experiences of all athletic teams!
