Waterloo shot 32.1% compared to just 26.2% for the visiting Mustangs but it was the turnovers the made the difference as Waterloo gave the ball away 15 times in which Western turned into 18 points. Â
Three Warriors reached double digits with
Sydney Wilson (Guelph/) leading the way with 11 while
Afifa Salad (Cambridge/) and rookie
Ann Stewart (Yellowknife/) each put up 10. On the boards
Caitlin MacLeod (Mississauga/) led the Warriors with seven while Wilson had six.
