Box Score It was not the performance the Warriors had hoped for following a strong outing on Wednesday in Toronto as the Warriors were downed 80-48 in an afternoon contest with Ryerson on Saturday. 

The Rams outscored Waterloo 27-13 in the opening quarter and the visiting Warriors could not recover.  Although the Rams came away with no three pointers, they outshot the Warriors from the field going 34-for-79 while Waterloo operated at just 29%.  The Rams also used their size to outrebound Waterloo 61-42.

Waterloo's starting point guard, Emily Wilk (Oakville) gave the Warriors a nice effort with 13 points and six rebounds while Kristen Osborne (Markham) was the only other Warrior in double figures with 10 points.  Nicole Schlick (Prince George) led her team in rebounds with eight.

The Rams got a well-rounded effort by their starters as they combined for 55 points with forward Sofia Paska leading the way with 16 points.  Mariah Nunes contributed with 15 while Silvana Jez had 13. 

The Warriors return to play on Saturday at home against Laurier.  Tipoff is set for 1pm and the game can be seen live on OUA.tv
