T-Wolves sweep Warriors

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 The struggles continued for the women's basketball team as they dropped both of their weekend games to the Lakehead Thunderwolves.

In the opening game Waterloo fell 89-60 as they had no answer for Jylisa Williams who posted an incredible 39 points going 14-for-21 from the field while dropping 11 free throws.

Leading the way for Waterloo was Madison Behr (Ancaster/Dundas Dynamo) and Kristen Osborne (Markham/) who had 11 points each.
In the second game Waterloo's defense once again struggled allowing 87 points in an 87-59 loss.  Williams was once again the leading scorer with 17 points while Ayse Kalkan had 14 in the win.
Osborne once again led the Waterloo offence with 12 points on four field goals and four free throws.  Behr chipped in with nine while Kate Kuntze (Stratford/) and Ally Vonk (Burlington/) had seven in the loss.

The Warriors, who have already played three games in 2014, will have little rest before their fourth as they take on the McMaster Marauders on Wednesday night at the PAC.  Tip-off is set for 6pm and the game can be seen live on Warriors TV.
