Box Score The struggles continued for the Waterloo women's basketball team who dropped a home contest 67-48 to the McMaster Marauders on Saturday afternoon at the PAC.
McMaster outscored the Warriors by 21-11 in the opening quarter and cruised to the 19 point victory. McMaster won their fourth straight game and now sit in fourth place in the OUA west with a 9-7 record. Waterloo dropped to 1-15 on the season with the loss.
Taylor Chiarot (Hamilton, Ont.) was the top scorer in the game with 14 points going 7-for-15 from the field while adding seven rebounds. Stephanie Truelove (Barrie, Ont.) was just behind her teammate with 13 points while Elizabeth Burns (Hamilton, Ont.) rounded out the Marauder attack with 1 2 points.
Colleen Quinlan (Hamilton/Warriors) was the lone Warrior to reach double digits with 13 points in the game while
Kate Kuntze (Stratford/) chipped in with nine. Kuntze also collected a game high eight rebounds along with teammate
Laura Bossers (Stratford/).
Waterloo have the week off before travelling to Thunder Bay to face the Lakehead Thunderwolves on Friday and Saturday.
