Lancers walk over Warriors in 91-41 victory

The Waterloo women's basketball team dropped their 10th game of the season falling to the mighty Windsor Lancers 91-41 on Wednesday night.  Windsor improved to 9-2 on the season with head coach Chantal Vallée of the Lancers picking up her 100th career CIS win.

After the Warriors opened the game with a 7-0 run, the Lancers outscored the visitors 30-3 in the last eight minutes of the first quarter to take a commanding lead.
 
With a twenty point lead heading into the half, Windsor was able to play all dressed players against Waterloo and got some of their younger players some significant minutes in the process.
 
Led by Jessica Clemencon's 26 point, 9 rebound performance, the Lancers outscored the Warriors 44-14 in the second half to earn the win.
 
In addition to Clemencon, Windsor was led by Miah Langlois with 13 points, 8 rebounds, and Iva Peklova with 12 points and 9 rebounds.

Colleen Quinlan (Hamilton/Warriors) was the top point getter for the Warriors with eight going 3-for-5 from the field and a perfect 2-of-2 from beyond the arc.

The Warriors continue their road trip on Saturday as they face the Guelph Gryphons at 1pm.
