U of T shot 42% from the floor, compared to Waterloo's 29%, and were 15-of-17 from the free throw line.

Waterloo host the Ryerson Rams on Saturday night at the PAC to wrap up play in 2010.

Saturday, November 27 vs. Ryerson
Ryerson 66, Waterloo 41

The Warriors continued their learning curve on Saturday night as they fell to 0-8 on the season losing 66-41 to the Ryerson Rams.

The Warriors showed great intensity early on shutting down the top scorer in the OUA Ashley MacDonald and coming out of the first quarter down by only one.

Unfortunately for Waterloo, the scoring touch went dry and the Rams outscored the Warriors 37-15 over the second and third quarter to cruise to victory.

Despite the loss, the young Warrior squad continued to show improvement and battled all game long.

Ryerson's Angela Tilk recorded game-highs of 16 points and eight rebounds to lead her Rams to victory.  Kelsey Wright added 12 points for Ryerson, while Ashley MacDonald had 11 points, five steals and five assists.

Rookie guard Laura Burnett (Heidelberg/) continued her hot play putting up nine points while Erin Tilley (Oakville, Ont.) added nine of her own.

Waterloo head into the Christmas break looking for answers to turn their season around.  The young team realize that continuing to improve and build as a team is the most important aspect moving forward.
