Dowling named OUA Goalkeeper of the Year, Hunter All-Star

For the second straight season, Warriors netminder Marley Dowling (Waterloo/) has been named the OUA Goalkeeper of the Year while senior midfielder Miranda Hunter (Mississauga/) has earned her first OUA All-Star nod.

Dowling received the honour in 2019 and followed up that season with another stellar performance in net for the black and gold this year. Dowling led the Warriors to a 3-3-2 record allowing just eight goals in eight games played. Dowling was also a big factor in Waterloo's first win over the Gryphons in 15 years. Waterloo goalkeepers have now won the OUA top goalie award four of the last six years with Hilary Neeb earning the honour in 2015 and 2016.

Hunter was again solid for Waterloo all season long playing key roles on the offensive side of the field while making big defensive plays when needed. She finished the season with two goals and two assists.
