The Warriors stuck right with the Guelph Gryphons in the first three quarters but got outscored 16-7 in the final 10 minutes to drop their Saturday afternoon contest to the Guelph Gryphons.
Burke Bechard and Skyla Minaker put up 20 and 17 points respectively to give their Gryphons the 69-55 win over the Warriors.
Waterloo got a solid effort from
Vanessa Hughes (Hamilton/) for the second straight game as the second year guard had 13 points and six rebounds.
Beth Howlett (Burlington/) was also in double digits with 13 points, doing most of her damage in the second half with eight.
Sydney Wilson (Guelph/) chipped in on the offence with nine points, including five of six made free throws.
Waterloo will look to rebound this Wednesday when they are back on the PAC floor at 6pm against the Ryerson Rams.Â
