Standout rookie point guard Kailtyn Overeem had her best offensive output of her young career with a game high 31 points in a 93-63 loss to Guelph on Saturday night.
Overeem went 10-for-27 while knocking down 11 of 12 free throw attempts. She also had nine rebounds in the contest.
Hilary Fegruson put up eight points in her 17 minutes of action while
Beth Howlett (Burlington) finished with six.
Guelph shot 40.5% from the field while Waterloo went 31.5%. Guelph put up big numbers in the second and fourth quarters (50 points) to earn the 30 point victory.
The 5-17 Warriors will hit the PAC gym on Wednesday for their final home game of the season against Western at 6pm before closing out their season on Friday night across the street against Laurier.
