The Warriors field hockey team finished in sixth place at the 2017 OUA Championship. 

After a lopsided 11-0 loss to Guelph in the OUA quarter-finals, Waterloo bounced back with a very solid performance in their placement match with McGill. 

Nicole Mastantuono (Oakville/) scored two goals in the final 11 minutes ('59, '63) to top the Martlets 2-1.  Rookie goalie Reagan McKinney (Edmonton/) picked up her first win as a Warrior.

On Sunday, the Warriors battled Western for fifth spot but fell just short in a 1-0 loss.
