The Warriors field hockey team hosted four games at Warrior Field on Saturday, two of which the black and gold were involved in.  Waterloo fell to York in a tightly contested match but came back strong in their second game against McGill earning a 2-2 draw.

Hilary Neeb (Wellesley) was busy in the opener making several big saves in the opening half.  Neeb kept her team in the match for the final 35 minutes but the Warriors couldn't find the equalizer as they fell by a score of 1-0.

In their second match Waterloo fell behind 1-0 as Kasey Boyle put McGill up in the 26th minute but only 11 minutes later Waterloo would even the score as Mehakdeep Mangat (Brampton) netted her first career CIS goal.

McGill took another lead in the 51st minute but again the resilient Warriors responded as Jenna Ridpath (Guelph) potted her second of the season to even the game at 2's.  Nothing would be settled in the dying minutes of the game, making the final 2-2.

In the other matches, Western lost a pair of close matches; 1-0 to Toronto and 1-0 to Queen's.

The Warriors will face McGill tomorrow in Toronto, their third final regular season game of the season.
