The Waterloo field hockey team evened their record to 2-2 thanks to a 2-0 shutout win over the York Lions on Saturday afternoon at Varsity Stadium.Â
Second year goaltender
Kaylee Lock-O'Connor (Hamilton/) picked up first shutout of the season turning aside all of the York attempts on net. The win is her second in as many games played.

Caitlin Huber (Waterloo/) her put home her second and third goals of the season to lead Waterloo to victory. Huber's opening goal came at the two minute mark of the second half while her insurance marker came with only three minutes remaining in the game to sink the Lions and give Waterloo their second win of the season.
The Warriors were back at it on Sunday afternoon this time against the Western Mustangs in a pivotal game between the two arch rivals with the winner moving into third spot overall in the OUA standings. Â The Mustangs would get the better of the Warriors handing them a 3-0 loss at Varsity Stadium. Â With the loss Waterloo dropped to 2-3 on the season and sit in a tie for fourth with Queen's (2-2).
