Troy Stevenson enters his 3^rd season as the full-time head coach of the men’s basketball program.

Troy was hired as the full-time head coach of the men's basketball program in June of 2020 after serving as the interim head coach for the 2019-20 season and the previous four seasons as an assistant. Stevenson graduated in 2015 with a Chemical Engineering degree and played for the Warriors for three seasons (2010-13).

Prior to joining Waterloo's coaching staff, Stevenson spent two seasons as an assistant at McMaster and was a part of their run to nationals in 2014-15. 

Stevenson has also taken on key roles that will allow a smooth transition into the head coaching position including recruitment, practice preparation, game film analysis, alumni engagement, and more.

In addition to his OUA experience, Stevenson has been the Vice President of Basketball Operations of the Tri-County Soldiers Basketball since last year and was a head coach of the Guelph Youth Basketball Association from 2014-18 and Waterloo Wolverines Basketball program from 2015-17.

Troy resides in Waterloo.
