Carla Munch

Carla is a PGA of Canada Golf Professional who has been the Head Coach of the Women’s Golf Program at Waterloo since its inception in 2004 and is the Managing Partner and Head Golf Professional at Cambridge Golf Club.
 
Carla is a highly recognized and accomplished coach who was voted the 2006 OPGA Assistant Professional of the Year, and was appointed as a Coach with the FISU World University Games in countries such as South Africa (2008), Spain (2010), China (2011), Switzerland (2014), and Italy in 2022.  She was named as an Assistant Coach for Team Ontario at the 2013 Canada Summer Games and was awarded the 2011 Developmental Coach of the Year from the Golf Association of Ontario (GAO).
 
Munch has been the coach of the women's golf program since 2004 and has created a competitive program leading her team to back to back OUA gold medals in 2010 and 2011, seven OUA silver medals (2008, 2012, 2013-2016, and 2019), and four OUA bronze medals (2005, 2007, 2009, and 2017) as well as a bronze medal at the College/University Golf Championship in 2011. In 2019 Munch was named the PGA of Canada's top golf coach and was Waterloo's Coach of the Year in 2007 as well as the OUA Coach of the Year in 2007 and 2008.
