Amanda is entering her second season as an Assistant Coach with the Warriors.
Smith joined the Warriors as a student-athlete in 2017-18 as a Master of Public Service Student and finished her final year of eligibility in the 2018-19 season.
Prior to starting with the Warriors, Smith spent the 2019-2020 season as a coach with the Midget AA Cambridge Road Runners and spent the following season as a goalie coach with the Cambridge Rivulettes in the PWHL.
While working with the Ontario Women’s Hockey Association Smith coached the Team Ontario Identification and Selection Camps for both U18 and U16 levels, working with the highest achieving young women in the province. Smith was also a member of the coaching staff with the u18 Team Ontario Red during their Nationals gold medal win in 2019-2020.
During her career as a student-athlete Smith was extensively involved in goalie development in the tri-state area. She worked with several teams in the Waterloo Ravens as well as their player development with the Warriors, coached goalie development clinics for the Wilmot minor organization, and coached in many goalie camps for goalies of all ages and levels.
