University of Waterloo Athletics

A Cambridge, Ont. native, Courtney Wright played for the KW Lightning/Tri-County thunder programs before continuing her basketball career at the University of Vermont.

During her four years Courtney earned a starting spot as a guard/forward. She also was a dual sport athlete, competing with the UVM track & field team in her senior year. Wright graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development & Family Studies and Coaching minor.

Since graduating Courtney has helped out with the local Tri-City soldiers basketball program.
