Jon played semi-professionally in his native England for 10 years, he coached both youth and men’s soccer for 6 years before coming to Canada.
Morgan started out as a volunteer coach in 2006 with Cambridge Youth Soccer (CYS). In 2008 he was appointed as a Staff Coach at CYS, conducting development sessions in the U8-18 competitive player pathway. In January 2017, Jon became Grassroots Club Head Coach at CYS being responsible for House League development and assisting the technical department with the competitive program. Between 2008-2010 Jon coached with the SWRSA District program assisting with clinics and coaching workshops.
In 2016 he worked at Conestoga College Men’s Soccer program as an Assistant Coach. Jon joined the Waterloo Warriors Men’s Soccer program in August 2017.
Jon lives in the Cambridge area with his wife Jayne and his two daughters Lily and Ava.
