Job Summary:

  • Work closely with the Marketing Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Warriors Box Office. 
  • Assist with all ticket related game day duties including ticket orders, ticket distribution, counting floats, making deposits, and filling out ticket reports. 
  • Supporting the Facility events and operations staff by preparing ticket scanners and acting as the ticketing expert for all varsity games. 
  • Respond to customer questions and concerns via emails, over the phone and in person.

Qualifications & Skills: 

  • Current Standard First Aid and CPR ‘C’ certification (required by first in person shift) 
  • Responsible, independent, energetic, and creative 
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team setting 
  • Previous knowledge of university sporting events 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead/supervise peers 
  • Strong organizational and computing skills including web platforms and Excel as software is web based with excel outputs. 
  • Ability to resolve problems and conflicts quickly and thoughtfully 

Times and Hours of Work 

  • Roughly 30 hours of set up and planning work to be done prior to the season due to the necessity of inputting game dates and ticketing rates (flexible schedule). 
  • Office hours to follow up with customers (phone and email) and fulfill orders will be approximately 2 hours per week (flexible schedule) 
  • Evening and weekends required as attendance is mandatory for many box office driven sporting events (Football, Hockey, Basketball and Volleyball) which will be approximately 200 hours from September to March. Student coordinator to be onsite at a majority of varsity games to support the box office. Includes approximately 40 regular season events plus exhibition and playoffs.
