Keynote Description
How Can We Make This Better? Creating a Quality Mindset
The way we think about a problem always determines what kind of solutions we seek. This talk will focus on ways to think about and achieve customer service levels that will attract and retain clients from all over campus.
Dr. Ron McCarville has been a faculty member at the University of Waterloo since 1989 and served a variety of administrative posts including Associate Dean in the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences. Having written extensively on marketing and management issues he regularly shares his ideas in workshops and conference sessions across North America. Â
Ron was nominated as one of Ontario’s best lecturers and has been named a Distinguished Teacher at the University of Waterloo. He has appeared on Discovery channel discussing consumer behaviour and his books have been adopted by university programs in both the US and Canada.Â
Most recently, Ron has been conducting research on service delivery, online culture and work-life integration.
