Position: Aquatic Leadership and First Aid Instructors
Effective Date: Ongoing
Remuneration: $23.90-$28.90
Expected teaching courses: a least 1 course per month
Minimum Current Qualifications
- LSS Emergency First Aid Instructor or LSS First Aid Instructor and Examiner appointment
- LSS Standard First Aid with CPR-C or CPR-HCP
- You must hold current the award you wish to teach
- NL Pool option – for those teaching aquatic leadership (is an asset)
- Police and vulnerable section check
Additional Qualifications based on Courses Your Wish to Teach
- Current qualifications for the awards you wish to teach
- Current Instructor and Examiner awards for the awards you wish to teach
The Fine Print
- All qualifications must be current from the start of the term until the last day of the term (Jan.1-Apr.30; May 1-Aug. 31; Sept. 1-Dec.31).
- Qualifications are valid for a maximum of 2 years from certification date
- All qualifications and recerts are offered on campus

- Applications are accepted on an on-going basis
- An orientation will be required
- Police and Vulnerable Sector Check dated within the last six months required for new applicants
- You can apply online or at any police stations
- Original must be presented upon hiring and before first course
