It what was another exciting black and gold day at Warrior Field, men's rugby couldn't get the win over the visiting Guelph Gryphons in a 36-14 loss to open their season.

Paul Schroeder (New Dundee/New Dundee) put up nine points in the loss with one try and two converts while Nicholas Bilodeau (Wellesley/) stormed his way into the endzone for his first try of the season to cap off Waterloo's scoring. 

Guelph had four different members score tries while Avia Keshoofy put up four converts and one penalty goal to give him a game high 11 points.

The Warriors will look to bounce back this Saturday in Toronto when they face the Varsity Blues at 1pm.
