The men's rugby team capped off another outstanding regular season with a 40-33 Battle of Waterloo win on Saturday afternoon on the lower CIF field.
The Warriors were led by
Mitch Voralek (Waterloo/) who put up 13 points on one try and four successful converts.
Philip Murphy (Galway) and
Darius Steffler (Toronto/Toronto) punched in two tries each for a total of 20 points while
Gurvir Romana (Burlington/) ran in the other try for the black and gold.
Paul Schroeder (New Dundee/New Dundee) also found the scoresheet with one convert.
With their 5-1 record Waterloo will now host the OUA quarter-finals next Saturday against the Brock Badgers.
