The women's soccer team faced stiff competition in a pair of matches with Western and Windsor, coming away with a point in their draw with the Lancers.
On a scorching hot Saturday at Warrior Field the Warriors faced the No. 8 Western Mustangs for the second time in six days, and after an impressive 0-0 draw last weekend in London, the black and gold couldn't hold off the powerhouse Mustangs as they erupted for five goals to top Waterloo 5-1.
The highlight of the match came from
Alexa Miller (oakville/) who scored her first career goal off a beauty header, Waterloo's lone goal.
On Sunday, Waterloo bounced back with a solid effort as reigning OUA Athlete of the Week
Morgan Berg (Kitchener/), picked up her fourth clean sheet of the season as the Warriors tied Windsor 0-0.
Waterloo sits in fourth in the OUA west with a 3-3-2 record and 11 points, two back of York for the third spot and four back of Western for second.
