After defeating the Golden Hawks 1-0 in the first edition of the Battle of Waterloo on September 8, the cross-town rivals got their revenge on Wednesday night at Warrior Field earning their own 1-0 victory over the Warriors.

Ggan Parhar scored the games lone goal in the 31st minute to seal the victory. 

Waterloo outplayed their counterparts, outshooting the Hawks 10-4 but could not get one past Ashley Almeida. Gabriella Zepeda-Ayala (Kitchener/) had several quality chances with four shots on target but just could not find the back of the net.

Morgan Berg (Kitchener/) stopped three of the four shots she faced.

Despite the loss, Waterloo still remains in the sixth and final playoff spot with a 4-5-3 record, four points ahead of Windsor.  Waterloo will now hit the road for their next three matches before returning home on October 20 for their final regular season game against Brock at 1pm.
