Men's Rugby

Warriors wrap up 2017 season with big win over Toronto

The Warriors men's rugby team came away with a big win in their final regular season game of the season beating Toronto 59-18.  Mitch Voralek (Waterloo/) led the way with a career high 24 points, giving him 68 on the season, good for third most in the OUA.

With the win the Warriors finished the season winning three of their final four games to end off with a respectable 3-5 record, just narrowly missing out on the post-season.  It was the first time since 2011 the Warriors men's rugby team has won three games.

Darius Steffler (Toronto/Toronto) had two tries for 10 points in the win while while Nicholas Bilodeau (Wellesley/), Aaron Goodridge (Waterloo/Waterloo), Bailey Kalef (Mississauga/), and Paul Schroeder (New Dundee/New Dundee) each had a single try.

Head coach Tyler Greer would like to sincerely thank his graduating players who laid it all out on the line in their final match, Aaron Goodridge (Waterloo/Waterloo) and Bailey Kalef (Mississauga/).
