Warriors fall short in home loss to Lancers

Box Score The Waterloo women's soccer team fell 3-0 to the Windsor Lancers on Sunday afternoon at Warrior Field.

Waterloo continues to search for their first win of the season as the loss dropped them to 0-5-1 on the season.  Despite no victories, the black and gold are playing consistent soccer, just not getting the breaks they need to put the ball in the back of the opposition's net.

Windsor scored in the 30th minute off the foot of Becca Fuerth and took a 1-0 lead into half.

The Lancers added to their lead in the opening minutes of the second half as Jazmin Martin (49') put one past Warrior keeper Krystna Brudnicki.  Fuerth of the Lancers would add one more before time expired to secure the 3-0 win for her squad.

Waterloo will look to get in the win column next weekend when they host Brock on Saturday and McMaster on Sunday on Warrior Field.
