The Waterloo Warriors were in tough against the uOttawa Gee-Gees Saturday afternoon as they sprinted to a 45-0 lead just before halftime and cruised from there to a 51-10 defeat.

With the game out of reach, a lot of the uOttawa starters saw rest in the second half but they had done their job contributing to a solid win. The win improves Ottawa's record to 4-2 while Waterloo falls to 0-6.

In just one half of work, starting quarterback Derek Wendel went 11-for-15 for 288 yards and three touchdown passes which he made look easy. Even though the balance of scoring was tipped way in the Gee-Gees favour they possessed the ball five minutes less than Waterloo. Each scoring drive was quick and efficient.

The Warriors will have a bye week for Thanksgiving and then take on the University of Toronto the following Saturday on the road. Kick-off is slated for 1pm.
