Men's rugby drop home contest to Mustangs

Men's rugby dropped their second home contest of the year 62-14 to the Western Mustangs on Saturday afternoon. 

Western scored early and often to pick up their fourth win of the season and improve to 4-1, good for second spot in the OUA standings.  Waterloo is still in search of their first win of the season and drop to 0-4-1.

The Mustangs had three different players with multiple tries while Mark Denton split the uprights six different times on conversion kicks to lead all players with 12 points.  Scoring multiple tries for Western was Ryan Tomlinson, Justin Chan and Glen Thomson-Bullock.

Alex Culiffe, Ade Ojo, Jesse Richardson and Eric Selvaggi each added single tries to complete the Western attack.  For the Warriors it was Alex Pedjase and Eddie Kibicho (Nairobi/) punching home the tries while Alex Dwhythie was successful on both converts to finish the game with four points.

Waterloo will take the rest of the week to prepare for their final home game of the season next Friday afternoon when the Brock Badgers come to town.  The game is set for noon at the lower CIF field.
