Warriors lose final game of season

The Warriors finished their season on a losing note as the Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks downed the black and gold 2-0 in the final regular season match of the season for Peter Mackie and his women's soccer team.

Laurier played a strong game against Waterloo out shooting them 16-4. Brynn Metherall (Burlington, Ont.) was first to score for Laurier, followed up by Krista Cellucci (Mississauga, Ont.). These scorers also had the most shots for Laurier with four each. Tara Chadwick (Stratford, Ont.) of Waterloo had two shots. Even though Laurier got two goals by Waterloo's goalie Lesia Bandura (Kitchener, Ont.), she was able to make 11 saves. There wasn't much action in Laurier's half, so goalie Katrina Ward (Surrey, B.C.) only made two stops.
